OUR RENOVATION PROCESS
Introductory Meeting – Obligation Free
A “Meet and greet” with preliminary discussions and where James can get a feel for your home to better understand your vision and what you are hoping to achieve with your proposed renovation.
If you already have plans drawn, James will commence the quotation.
If you do not have plans drawn, James will meet with our architect or draftsperson to discuss the proposed renovation and arrange a time to meet with you at your home. At this meeting, concepts will be discussed, and a plan of action agreed upon.
A quote will be given for preparing the concept and building drawings and if required, town planning drawings. To finalise the design, a budget will need to be discussed.
Some of the additional costs to be aware of are the preparation of specifications, the need for an interior designer and/or landscape designer.
Once the plans have been finalised and approved by you, we will prepare a quotation with an estimated commencement and completion date.
Subject to your approval of the quotation, contracts will be drawn up and submitted to you for signing.
When contracts have been signed, the start date will be confirmed, and construction will commence.
James believes that a good relationship between owner and builder relies on open communication. Weekly or fortnightly meetings can be arranged however James will be available at any time during working hours.
After the completion of your renovation your beautiful home is now ready to enjoy!
